Nearly 2,300 individuals in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties are living in emergency homeless shelters, their cars, the woods or on the streets.  Part of the problem is that there are not enough affordable housing options. Earning minimum wage, a single person would need to work 84 hours each week to afford the average one-bedroom rental in Florida.  According to Orange County Public Schools’ figures, nearly 9,700 students experienced homelessness over the past academic year. Join with us as we shed a light on the problem of homelessness here in our own community and raise funds to help more people find a way to home.

2023 Point in  Time (PIT) Count. The PIT Count is a survey that collects estimates on the number of people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. Includes Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.

Support awareness efforts by following Pathway on social media and sharing our race posts!

Can’t make the race?  Or maybe you want to donate above the ticket price.  Please help support the cause behind the race by DONATING to Pathway Homes of Florida
